Current Book

We are currently reading Dante’s Inferno, the first part of his great work The Divine Comedy, is one of the most profound explorations of sin, justice, and redemption ever written. Far from being merely a medieval vision of hell, it is a deeply Christian meditation on the moral order of the universe and the soul’s journey toward God. In vivid poetic imagery, Dante reveals how every sin is a distortion of love and how divine justice perfectly fits each act of rebellion against God’s will. Reading The Inferno helps Christians see the seriousness of sin, the beauty of moral clarity, and the necessity of grace that will later guide Dante upward through Purgatory and into Paradise. It is not only a masterpiece of Western literature but also a work that awakens the conscience, sharpens the understanding of God’s holiness, and deepens our gratitude for Christ’s redeeming mercy.
