Leadership

Jeremiah Pent serves as pastor and ruling elder of Walker’s Chapel. Jeremiah grew up in Ft Worth, Texas, and moved to Virginia with his family in 2001. He earned his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, in 2009. In addition to pastoring, Jeremiah currently works in real estate management and marketing.  He also enjoys writing and recently published a children’s book, illustrated by Ukrainian artist Dmitry Morozov. Jeremiah and his wife, Amy, have been married for 30 years and have seven children and three grandchildren.

Bob Chehi serves as a ruling elder of Walker’s Chapel. Bob grew up in eastern Pennsylvania, where he was active in sports and scouting. He graduated from Grove City College with a degree in engineering and later earned an MBA. He recently retired after a career that included management, sales, finance, and economic development. He and his wife, Evelyn, have been married for 45 years and have one married daughter and two grandchildren. They are currently enjoying their retirement on their nearby cattle farm in Orange County. 

Scott Magnino serves as a ruling elder of Walker’s Chapel. He grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where he was active in scouting, played trombone in the school band, and earned his pilot certification at the age of 16. Scott earned a degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma, and his career included work as a land surveyor, cardiovascular technician, and more than 30 years as a Security Specialist for the Department of the Air Force, Department of State, and the Department of the Army in a variety of positions around the world, before retiring in 2018. He and his wife, Karen, have two children and seven grandchildren. Since his retirement, Scott enjoys making 18th-century period reproduction furniture and managing an ever-growing honey bee apiary on their property in Madison County.
